We design and organize institutional planning, change management and visioning processes. These are participatory and interactive processes that nurture leadership, listening and a focus on results. We create value for our partners through the co-construction of a clearer vision of the future and the steps required to get there, thereby fostering trust and encouraging action. Among our partners are: o Instituto Alana, o Instituto Floresta Tropical, o Instituto Arapyaú, the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN), the Worldwide Fund for Nature ( WWF), the Brazilian National Water Agency and the Global Compact.

Olab supported the team from the Instituto Floresta Tropical and its partners to co-create and implement a new institutional strategy. This strategy drew on an evaluation of the organization’s existing literature, workshops with a range of different audiences and a review of the organization’s mission, vision and sustainability strategy. The result of this process was a co-created 12-month action plan that addresses management gaps and maps opportunities for the organization within the current context of Amazonian forest economies, as well as providing fundraising, cash flow and investment strategies for the next five years.

The Brazilian Agência Nacional de Águas (ANA - National Water Agency) and the Agência Brasileira de Cooperação (ABC - Brazilian Agency for [International] Cooperation, together led an initiative to promote the regional management of water resources in Latin America. In partnership with Aritculação Sul, the Olab team facilitated a series of workshops and meetings with national water agencies from more than 15 countries in the region. The results from this process were used to structure a dialogue on international cooperation at the subsequent meeting of the World Water Forum in Brasilia.
